Six little wishes, gathered together.
Six Wishes is a one-of-a-kind handmade origami crane statement brooch, lovingly created from beautiful Japanese washi paper and designed to be worn, treasured and remembered.
Six tiny origami cranes, each folded by hand in a different colour and pattern, gather across a golden yellow-green origami fan. Together, they create a little scene of colour, texture and movement — delicate from a distance, yet full of detail when you look closely.
I created Six Wishes of Peace for the woman who gives so much of herself to the people she loves.
The woman who spends her days working, caring, organising and thinking about everyone else. The woman who sometimes needs a gentle reminder to pause and remember her own hopes, too.
Each little crane carries a wish:
for peace.
for hope.
for harmony.
for healing.
for beautiful beginnings.
and for the courage to keep unfolding.
The origami crane is a symbol of peace, hope, harmony and healing. I love the idea of bringing six of these tiny symbols together — not as something loud or extravagant, but as a quiet reminder you can carry with you.
Behind them, the golden fan represents good fortune, protection and the unfolding journey of life.
Two delicate 925 sterling silver ball chains fall beneath the fan, adding movement and a subtle shimmer whenever you wear it.
Every crane is individually folded by hand from Japanese washi paper before being carefully positioned across the fan. No two pieces of washi fold exactly the same way, making Six Wishes a truly unique piece of handmade jewellery.
This isn't a brooch you simply put on.
It's a little piece of your story.
A reminder to keep your hopes close, make room for moments of peace, and trust that beautiful things can still unfold.
The Story Behind Six Wishes
I folded each of the six cranes by hand and chose their different colours and patterns to create something that feels joyful, hopeful and a little unexpected.
Six Wishes has been intentionally created as a one-of-a-kind piece. Once this brooch finds its person, I won't be able to recreate another exactly the same.
It is a celebration of the little wishes we carry quietly with us — and a reminder that, just like an origami fold, life can take an unexpected shape and still become something beautiful.
