Individually Hand-Folded Crane

Each earring features a delicate origami crane hand-folded from 3cm x 3cm Japanese Washi paper. Dangling above a tiny fan and suspended from 925 sterling silver French hooks, the design reflects the grace and tradition of Japanese origami while adding a modern, wearable charm.

Vibrant Colours

Available in a variety of beautiful shades, every pair is truly unique thanks to the art of paper folding. Patterns may vary slightly, and custom colours are offered to match the Swarovski crystals shown.

Every crane is hand-coated with multiple layers of non-toxic lacquer, ensuring the earrings are water-resistant and hold their shape over time. Completed with 925 sterling silver hooks, these earrings are hypoallergenic and suitable for sensitive skin.

Each pair is lovingly handcrafted by me, Parry Yang, from my home studio in Coogee Beach, Sydney. My journey with origami began at the age of 10 in Shantou, China, where I discovered my passion for this ancient paper folding art. Every creation carries a piece of that tradition, reimagined as elegant jewellery for today.

Shipping

Shipping Times & Rates

We take great pride in offering high-quality products, and as such, the majority of our items are made to order. Please allow the following processing times:

  • In-stock items: Usually ship within 48 hours.
  • Made-to-order pieces: Approximately 1–2 weeks turnaround time.
  • Out-of-stock or custom orders: Please allow 2–3 weeks for production and dispatch.

    During peak seasons (e.g., Christmas), postal services may be busier than usual, so please plan ahead.

    Shipping Rates (Australia)
  • Orders under 500g – Regular (Parcel Post): $12 + packaging
  • Orders under 500g – Express Post: $15 + packaging
  • Most orders weigh less than 500g. If your order exceeds this, we’ll notify you of the adjusted shipping cost before dispatching.

International Shipping

We currently ship to New Zealand and the UK. Shipping to the USA has been paused due to postal restrictions. If you're outside Australia, please contact us before placing an order so we can provide a quote and confirm availability. We base our rates on Australia Post's international guidelines and will always notify you before shipping.

Risk-Free Purchases

We offer a 14-day return period for items that arrive damaged or with a flaw. Please note that return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer, and we recommend using a trackable shipping service for returns. For more details, please refer to our full Refund and Exchange Policy.

Care Instructions

Origami jewellery is delicate and should be handled with care. To ensure your piece stays beautiful:

  • Avoid contact with moisturisers, perfumes, hairspray, chlorine pools, and spas.
  • Do not sleep in your jewellery.
  • After wearing, gently wipe your piece with a soft cloth.
  • Store jewellery separately in small ziplock bags to prevent scratches and tarnish.
  • Sterling silver will tarnish over time; use a silver polishing cloth to restore its shine.
